  2. Wide Range of Topics: The museum covers over 45 topics, including everyday life, the Berlin Wall, the Stasi, and much more. It provides a comprehensive look at the social, political, and cultural aspects of life in the GDR2.
  3. Location: The museum is located in the former governmental district of East Germany, right on the river Spree, opposite the Berlin Cathedral.
  4. Visitor Experience: The museum encourages visitors to touch, feel, and interact with the exhibits, making it a unique and engaging experience.
  5. Special Exhibitions: The museum hosts special exhibitions, such as «The Baltic Sea – Holiday Destination, Border Region, Place of Longing,» which runs from July 24, 2024, to March 31, 2025.
  6. Popularity: It is one of the most popular museums in Berlin, attracting thousands of visitors each year.
