The Humboldt Forum is a cultural and scientific institution which is located in the newly reconstructed Berlin Palace in Mitte, Berlins most central district. It houses museum, exhibitions, and event spaces that showcase global art, culture, and history. The Forum aims to foster intercultural dialogue and exchange while honoring the intellectual legacy of Alexander and Wilhelm von Humboldt.
Note that the newly reconstructed building, looks as a palace only on the outside while the inside is hyper modern. It is named in honour of the Prussian scholars Wilhelm and Alexander von Humboldt. Considered the «German equivalent» of the British Museum,[1the Humboldt Forum houses the non-European collections of the Berlin State Museums, temporary exhibitions and public events. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it opened digitally in 2020 and became accessible to the general public in 2021

Located in the heart of Berlin, the new institution hopes to welcome as many as three million visitors each year. The institution will eventually display the German state’s extensive collection of non-European art, including holdings from the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art.
